The Western Union counter is opened in B.C.B. since 15/10/2003.
Capital can be transferred abroad or received from this last one by the canal of Western Union.

Briefly, the procedures of sending and reception are made by the way which follows:

Sending of funds :

The Western Union operator communicates to the customer the amount of commissions to be perceived considering the amount to be transferred.

The customer completes an appropriate form.

The Western Union operator registers on the form the amount to transfer that of commissions

The customer donor of order presents to the Western Union counter the completed form and pay the amount in US dollars registered on this one.

The cashier hands to the customer the deposit slip.

The operator proceeds to the sending of capital by means of the Western Union software " Transfert d' argent " on base of the indications of the aforesaid form and the deposit slip and hands, after allocation in the transfer of the number of control of the transfer, a document carrying the mentions relative to this last one.

Reception of funds :

The customer presents and communicates to the Western Union operator what follows:

   Identity cards
  The control number of the transfer awaited
  The password
  The waited amount
  The first name and the surname of the sender

The operator proceeds in search of the transfer by means of the Western software Union " Transfert d' argent " on base of the indications of the aforesaid form.

Note please :

Although optional, the control number of the transfer allows to find quickly the expected transfer. The number informed by the customer conductor must be exact. The role of the sender is essential during a transfer sent to allow the beneficiary to receive its transfer without difficulties.

He watches that the identity of the beneficiary, informed about the form, is correct and to communicate to the beneficiary exactly the control number of transfer.

Transfers are received either in US dollars, or in Burundian Francs. The successful transfers are paid in dollars according to the General Regulation of control of Exchange.
