On Thursday 11 June 2026, BCB welcomed 40 interns from UNFPA (FNUAP, the United Nations Population Fund) at its Kamenge Training Centre for an experience-sharing session on the theme "Determination and motivation to succeed in your professional career." The session was led by Deputy Managing Director Mr Thierry Koffi.
Mr Koffi underlined that professional growth depends 90% on oneself and that discipline is the key to success. He encouraged the young interns to cultivate self-denial, the drive to surpass themselves and a constant pursuit of excellence.
He noted that true added value — the kind companies look for in innovative and competitive staff — comes through personal training and continuous skills development, leaving the interns with a clear message about taking ownership of their own careers.
